Sometimes a design isn’t worth putting in store for any number of reasons, usually because its either to niche or because shipping would be too difficult or costly to make it worthwhile. That doesn’t mean I don’t still want to share the files with the world. Those files will be uploaded here. If you enjoy any of the files you find here and want to make a donation that is very appreciated.

Filament Spool Storage

empty spool storage

If you are anything like me you have a pile of empty filament spools, and you hate to just throw that much plastic into the trash. Well I came up with a solution. You can turn those empty spools into a new storage solution. Each spool fits 3 bins and can be stacked up to contain all your bits and bobs. Each spool takes 6 screws, #6x1/2” a countersinking head is preferred, but it will still work with regular pan head screws. I also provided a stand you can print that will hold 3 spools stacked up to utilize more vertical space.
I will be adding more bins with internal dividers and taller stands as I have time to, so come and see what’s new!

Trying to find a pully to rebuild my homemade power hammer proved to be rather difficult without taking out a second mortgage on the house to pay for it, so I decided that I would need to make my own.

I created this file using OpenSCAD. A text based 3d modelling software. This can be used to generate complete pulleys, or break it up into parts for 3d printing. It can even be used to print just the outside perimeter so you can use a wooden center.
